Automatic Drive
Selecting Automatic Drive beneath the Marketing tab displays the Automatic Drive Editor, as shown in the illustration below. 1to1Real’s Automatic Drive tool allows you to create a mass Email that you can send to as many or as few contacts as you’d like based on your specifications for a Campaign. When you create the Campaign, you also create and set parameters for automated follow-up Emails according to what have proven to be the most important criteria in the Campaign. Follow the steps below to work with Automatic Drive.
Enter a name for the Automatic Drive in the Name text field.- To turn on your Automatic Drive, select the Enabled checkbox above the Automatic Drive Name text field to activate it.
- Enter the Email Addresses to be used for confirmation purposes in the Confirmation Addresses text field. Once you add the first Email Address, an additional field will be displayed into which you can add another Email Address. Click Delete for an Email Address line that you’ve added if you decide not to use that Email Address.
- Click Edit Recipient List and follow the process described within the Campaign Creator section of the document to select the Recipients to associate with the Automatic Drive.
- Use the Expires fields to set an expiration date for the Automatic Drive. Though the system sets an expiration date for an Automatic Drive at 3 months from the time of its creation, you can modify that date using the Calendar icon to select a different date and the Time lists to select a different time.
- Within the Dynamic Addresses portion of the screen, you can add Contacts important to a Campaign and its Automatic Drive by selecting their Tag from the Tag list. For example, you might want only VIP leads to receive a campaign such as “Come see our exclusive properties.” In that case, you would select the VIP tag from the Tag list.
- Within the Dynamic Exclusions portion of the screen, you can exclude Contacts who you might not want to include in the Campaign by selecting their Tag from the Tag list. For example, you might be running a Campaign such as “10 %0ff”, “Free Shipping” and not want to bother Contacts you have tagged as VIP, so you would select the VIP Tag from this Tag list to exclude them.

- Select the Recipients for the Automatic Drive Template from the Recipients list.
